The room was cozy and quiet, with a beauty hot shower and well-thought-out amenities. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and modern. I was highly impressed with the lovely breakfast that was included, offering a variety of options like boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese. Nordlingen is an underrated town that is definitely worth a visit, with friendly locals and interesting attractions like the city museum and a scenic wall walk. , the Diablo's Mexican Cantina, just 50m north of the hotel, was another highlight.

Although my stay was brief, I found two features of the hotel particularly convenient. its close proximity to the nearest airport, which was only 72 km away, made my travel experience hassle-free. The ease of reaching the hotel from the airport allowed me to relax and unwind after a long journey. the provided database was comprehensive and informative, giving me all the necessary information about the hotel and its amenities.

While my stay at Cafe-Hotel Altreuter was generally enjoyable, there were a few minor drawbacks. One slight inconvenience was the absence of a "do not disturb" sign.

The walk along the wall was enjoyable, and there was even a great Mexican restaurant nearby.

The check-in system was problematic, especially for those arriving after 7pm. It would have been helpful to receive the access code in advance, as it caused a lot of frustration and delays.
